Mar 24th, Year 0, B.C. 

“Jesus!” God yells out into the vastness and perfection of Heaven, from within His quarters. The place is massive, pristine and white, the furniture gold. Rays of pure light burst through the gaps in the radiant, load-bearing clouds— or the picture your brain paints when you imagine God’s quarters. 

God had another one of His epiphanies today, and it’s a good one, the ultimate plan to remind these fire-taming monkeys who’s in charge. He’d created them. He’d created everything, including the concept of gratitude, which these animals can’t seem to grasp. They don’t praise him; not often enough, and never with enough fervor. Sometimes they even have the gall to give their praise and worship to other gods, but that wors…
